This project involved replacing a window made from tempered glass. This type of glass is very rigid but has low resistance to mechanical factors.
In this case, the window cracked due to a sudden temperature change after the window was opened in winter.
Acrylic is completely resistant to this, and after replacement it will serve safely for decades.
